Village Manager

The Village Manager serves at the pleasure of the Village President and Council. He or she will enter into an employment contract with the Village for a period not to exceed 6 years at one time. The Village Manager implements the policy established by the Village Council and oversees the day to day operation of the Village. The Manager also presents an annual budget to the Village Council for their consideration.

The DPW Director is responsible for all personnel within a public works department including, but not limited to day-to-day maintenance of the Village’s infrastructure services such as sewer and water maintenance and facility operation, street maintenance, and emergency response for snow and ice, flood, severe weather mitigation.

Village Treasurer

The Village Treasurer is appointed by the Village President and approved by the Village Council on a bi-annual basis. The Treasurer shall have the custody of all money bonds filed with the clerk, mortgages, notes, leases and evidence of value belonging to the village.

Office Administrator

The Village Clerk is appointed by the Village President and approved by the Village Council on a bi-annual basis. The Village Clerk is responsible for keeping the corporate seal and all documents, official bonds, papers, files and records of the village. The Village Clerk shall record all the proceedings and resolutions of the council, and shall record, or cause to be recorded, all the ordinances of the Village.
